I am having issues at school with connecting to alot of websites because there is websence on the server. Is there a program/internet service I can download/use to get around the schools proxie? I have heard about it but was unable to find one.

getting around a schools security measures is not something that should be posted here.
its also considered illegal and most likely a breach of your schools terms for your attendance. There may be a way, but I'm not sure anyone will point you in such a direction. though I can tell you most universities and colleges servers are run from another higher up server at a main office of some sort that is off site, you'd have to get around that too.

yeah, the websence is at the bord of ed server on the other side of town, this is a high school, and i have even been encouraged to find a way by my digital imaging teacher because we both use our own powerbooks and would just like to do some things, (play games, go to myspace, download texture maps, etc) just things that a 16 year old kid would do.
