I am trying to run some software that requires port 8686, and I keep getting Connection refused errors when the software starts.
I have rebooted and retried with no success. I have done a netstat -a, but the results don't contain any reference to 8686. When I tried to do a telnet to 8686, I get Connection refused. In fact, when I try to telnet to any port, I get Connection refused. The firewall is not on...are all ports on Snow Leopard blocked by default? |
