Hi Guys

Just bought my first MacBook made up been some time waiting to buy one. been puttin all my music etc on and i dont think i have made any system changes BUT when i try to download anything e.g VLC player, firefox anything off a website really i get a new window and i get a black blank screen, any ideas guys or do i need to see apple?

Since this is a brand new mac I would just go back to apple and get them to help you out. It's not worth tinkering around with a serious problem.
