when logging in, keychain asks to remember the password, i say yes, and next time it doesn't fill the password. i think this only started when i installed snow leopard. i went into safari pref and made sure autofill was checked off & it still is. what can i do?

I think the solution to your problem lies just there...

Go to Safari, go to Preferences, then click on AutoFill.
Make sure 'User names and passwords' is selected.
This will tell your Mac to save all those name/password combos in Keychain.

Hope this helps

Try cleaning out your keychain aka removing all current usernames/passwords and reentering them. I'm not positive it will work, but it's worth a try.

Well, yes, you would lose everything that you removed.

Are you talking about saving passwords for websites or what exactly?

If website passwords - one or two websites or all?

I noticed that this happens with Mail a lot. If the connection is broken for some reason, Keychain asks for my passwords even though I entered them the last time it happened. Sometimes it even asks me for the password over and over again.
