MacBook - Airport Icon Not Showing Up on Menu Bar

How do I get it to reappear? All I see is Bluetooth, Speaker, Battery, Time and Date.

System Pref->Network->Highlight Airport on the left and at the bottom of the page their will be "show Status in Menu Bar" and make sure that's checked.

Hi there.
I was freezing issues with my macbook pro so I restored it to factory settings.
No more freezing, but I cannot use AirPort to connect to my Wireless network.
The wedge is not on the taskbar and when I go to diagnostics the AirPort bubble is faded and unclickable. Also under network there is no AirPort section.
Tips please?!? Im new to mac...
