I am trying to use my password in Terminal and I keep getting error codes? Help! Is there a work around. I know I have the correct password. Nothing happens when I type it in. And then if I hit the enter button afterwards I get this message:
2009-09-09 15:00:01.132 TextEdit[295:c0b] *** CFMessagePort: bootstrap_register(): failed 1100 (0x44c) 'Permission denied', port = 0x4403, name = 'com.apple.TextEdit.ServiceProvider'
See /usr/include/servers/bootstrap_defs.h for the error codes.
