Hi all, I have a question regarding how to use your keyboard to navigate through web pages. I use Chrome, but I'm just asking in general.
So I know you can use TAB to cycle through all of the active links on a page. Is there any way to skip to a link, rather than just cycle through. For example, can I skip to a link by name using a search similar to the cmd-F word search? Thanks much |

Sometimes, you have to do Option-Command-C to cut, though that doesn't always work. I might be wrong about this though, but it is worth a try.

I would like to know a shortcut to view the appliation I select with the command + tab shortcut. I can choose a a running application, but if I have minimized it previously all I see is the menu bar of the program. How do I get to see an application window with a shortcut, when I can see it is active in the menu bar?
The other part of my mission is to get an explanation as to when I would want to choose an application and only see the menu bar in stead of the application window? Thanks a lot, Prodino |

One way would be to use Expose - or 4 finger swipe down on the trackpad (at least in SL). |

Just installed Lion and what a mess. None of my keyboard shortcuts work, either in general or in MS apps. What gives here? Also - what on earth was Apple thinking when they switched the scroll feature upside down?! Was able to change that, but my keyboard shortcuts still don't work. And I can't figure out how to uninstall Lion.
If anyone know how to fix this, PLEASE help!!!

Which shortcuts don't work? Are we talking basic stuff like cmd-c for copy cmd-v for paste? If so, that ain't a Lion issue.

There seems to be no other forum for this question, so I'll ask it here even though I suspect that it's software. When blogging furiously, I type a key combination (maybe) that puts me in a mode where the cursor stays put and as I type characters to the right of the cursor are deleted. The only way I know to get out of that mode is to delete to the left for a few characters and the start again.
Is there anyone who knows how to cancel this mode with keystrokes? It is sooooo annoying! |
