When i was running Tiger, Photoshop CS3 worked perfectly. I upgraded to Leopard, and CS3 wouldn't run normally, but running it in Rosetta mode resolved this. I deleted CS3 after getting CS4, and CS4 worked perfectly, until i upgraded to Snow Leopard, after which it didn't work, unless i booted it up in Rosetta mode.
It seems there a pattern going on. Every time i upgrade my OS, the version of Photoshop i was using prior to upgrade doesn't run unless it's in Rosetta. Is this a known issue? Any help is greatly appreciated. Regards, CobR |

No, it's not normal. Neither CS4 nor CS3 should use Rosetta.
How about explaining what you mean by "doesn't work?" Have you tried removing CS4 (use the Adobe uninstaller) and then re-installing from the original disc, and then installing all the updates? |
