Unfortunately 1.3.2 is the latest for you, unless you upgrade your OS.

Be nice if you told us what model PowerBook. As it is a G4, Tiger will run nicely with adequate memory and we do not have that either. When you look for Tiger make sure you purchase the full retail install DVD and not a system restore or so called 'dropin' version.

Full retail versions have a black disc.

That will run tiger nicelly, the only thing I would cxhange, apart from installing tiger is to max out the ram

And if you wish you could update that machine to Leopard OS X.5 as it has very respectable specifications, other than inadequate memory.

I run Leopard on mine, 12 inch G4. Have zero problems with it whatsoever.

1.5ghz clock speed with 1.2gb ram.

I'm sorry, but I find it hard to believe, since I installed Leo on an iMac G5 1,6 GHz with 1.5 GB RAM, and was forced to downgrade because of sluggishness of my machine, once Tiger was back on it, no probs.

But there may have been something wrong with it.. idon't know and never will....

Mine is 100% fine mate, smooth as a baby's bum, so think it must be your machine.

I have Leopard on my 1ghz/768mb ram emac too, same again, runs perfectly.
