OS 10.5 - froze with 33% remaining on eMac install

Now I'm stuck halfway between Tiger and Leopard on my fiancee's emac... This means I'll have to share my laptop with her until I get this fixed... let's get this fixed ASAP.

I have tried to start again by booting from the DVD, but no luck. I'm going to try to use the older 10.5.1 DVD I also have now. Somehow the DVD popped out the first time and I took it out, but now the drive is back in and I have no way of ejecting it to get a DVD back in there, actually. Yikes.

If I try to let the machine boot, I get a Leopard log in screen, but my keyboard and mouse are unresponsive. The machine thinks for a while, and then just hangs out on the login screen with no working input.

Tried to boot from my laptop over the network so I could restore her drive with the carbon copy clone, but couldn't get it to boot up. Probably because it's PPC and I'm intel.

What do I do?
