Had a wild thought the other night, but I don't see anything specific regarding this topic...

I have a Late 2008 Unibody MBP with the dual GPU configuration: 256 integrated & 512MB discreete. 90% of the time it's booted to just run off of the 256MB integrated graphics to keep heat down. With Snow Leopard leveraging the GPU to off-load processing, does anyone know if it will leverage both GPU's on systems that have two? I'm thinking since I rarely use the 512MB GPU, I might see some extra snappiness in my system.
Thanks,
Dave

I would think the with SMP it would only use the GPU that is actually "on." Although since I do not own one of the MBP's I can't be sure, however even with the integrated card it still should make everything nice and snappy.
