What was the exact date that Mac SO X Panther was announed?

I think 10/08/03 is when the countdown on Apple's site was begun and Panther release announced. It was released on Oct 24th, 8PM

ok thanks im just trying to predict when Tiger will come out. I think it will be announced at the 2005 WWDC.
