I recently upgraded to leopard, and my Lexmark X5470 series worked fine before the upgrade. Now it will not do anything,it tells me that there is a problem, something to do with the client,or something. And it also says there is no driver available.

Try downloading the Leopard printer driver from Lexmark via this link:-

Search Results - Lexmark X5470

Uninstall the current drivers, install the Leopard version, go to System Preferences and select Printer and see if the X5470 comes up there. Found Leopard drivers much, much better than those available for Tiger.

To uninstall the printer go into System Preferences > Print and Fax. Select the printer in the left hand column and hit the little '-' button.

To uninstall the software , see if an uninstaller is available on the software CD. If not, download a utility such as AppTrap or AppDelete, and drag the application to the trash.
