My mistake for not making it clear

Now for the idiot-proof resentencing

It's the copy that came with my friend's mac
It's on DL DVD, will my mac be able to read the DVD?
I know it won't install, but i live pretty far from any mac store, and my friend's 40km away which is 10 times closer than mac store to my house.

So just wanna ask if you think it's going to work, going to test if it can read first with my friend's disk then drive 3 fking hours to buy the disc when i'm in town next time
