I have my middle mouse button set to do that. If you have a Logitech mouse, it can be done by installing "Logitech Control Center" and setting it in there.

Connect your mouse and all the options including exposé should be under 'Keyboard & Mouse > Mouse in system Preferences.
I'm using a Bluetooth Mighty Mouse. ~ 15" MacBook Pro. OSX 10.7 ~ 3G iPad 2 ~
Measure twice, cut once.. |
