OS 10.4 - Disabling automatically opening programs

Maybe the wrong forum, but I have a flash USB drive, and everytime I put it into my machine, iPhoto opens automatically for some reason.

Is it possible to stop this happening?

Check the iPhoto and Finder preferences.
