Hi. I'm trying to view a video on the following page:

New Grey Whistle Test, The UK's Best Unsigned Bands Music Channel

However, Java won't open in any browser on my Mac. I've tried cleaning and rebooting and verifying disk permissions, etc, but still no joy. Can anyone help?

Many thanks.

It's not you, it's them.

It is almost always "them" when you're having an issue with only one or two sites or videos.

I took a quick look at the source of the page and it actually appears to be ActiveX/WMP related. If it does indeed depend on ActiveX, it won't work for you on your Mac.

Yep, at work now and it's def WMP. If not ActiveX, it's probably DRM'd.

OK - thanks. Frustrating, as I'm the guitarist in Pony Chair Black and can't see it!

Never mind. (It's just slightly embarrassing given the joys of Mac ownership I spout to those I know who use Windows...)

I got it to work with a couple of Firefox plugins for activex and Windows Media Player.
