personal web sharing

i have been trying to get my personal web sharing running but it does not work, it gives message that
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /~myuser/ on this server.

Apache/1.3.33 Server at mohit.local Port 80

please help

go to the computer that you are trying to access and make sure sharing is on, then go to the user folder, select it, command+i(get info), in the ownership and permissions section
of the window that appears, make sure it says read & write, and the same under Details in that same section, it has to say read & write, then click apply to enclosed items, ok, that should do it.
