OS 10.4 - address book deleted all my contacts

i have been editing my address book over the last 2 days and i was almost finished and address book quited on me and i lost some what 650 contacts. i have tried to back up to the addressbook.data.previousdata file's and it tells m no cards where found... please done tell me they are gone forever, i dont understand how data can just disappear. can anyone help me? thanks everything you can imagine is real... |
