OS 10.5 - Time Machine -multiple source/backup disks

I just upgraded to Leopard on a Pro that had been on Tiger. I have been using SuperDuper! and a Drobo storage unit. The boot drive is 1TB; there is a second 1TB drive plus an additional two internal drives configured as 1.5TB Raid 1. That makes 3 internal volumes. The backup Drobo has 4 1TB drives configured as two 2TB volumes. (Some of the Drobo capacity is dedicated to its Raid functions and is not available for storage.)

I am interested to use Time Machine, but the sketchy guidance presented in Help suggests that only the boot volume can be backed up, and only to 1 other volume. SuperDuper! easily configures backups from multiple source volumes to corresponding multiple backup drives, although I previously had two source volumes backing up to two destination volumes.

I wish to back up all three source volumes, using Time Machine. Is this possible and, if so, how is it accomplished?

Have not researched for an answer to your specific question, but:

I use both SuperDuper! and TM. My suggestion, continue using SD! unless you specifically need a way to restore old, deleted or prior versions of files.

I contacted the Apple Experts. The sparse description of TM is the story--it works with one source volume and one destination volume, preferably twice as large as the source volume. So my best course is to continue to use SuperDuper!
