Is there a way to securely erase email? Finder allows secure erasure of Trash but is there any way to securely erase deleted email and junk email?

Nothing direct. But indirectly you can use this method: Link

Just be careful anytime you use terminal - especially for deleting files.

Thanks, that's what I was afraid of. Looks like I'll have to write a plug-in for it.
