OS 10.5 - help changing mac hd icon

Mac Specs: 2ghz core 2 duo, 4bg ram, 120g hdd

mac_user_666 is offline
so i know how to go about changing the mac hd icon buy using the "get info" windows, but for some reason the image i try to use doesn't appear in place of the hd icon. someone said the image had to be in .png format, which it is, and it still doesn't work. anyone have any suggestions?
