MacBook - Cannot empty trash, and nothing else worked.

I got my Macbook on Monday, yet I already encountered troubles. First, MSN Messenger did not work and so i followed instructions online on how to re-try installing it. When I tried to delete the messenger files, they were not deleted. Soon, all the items that went to the trash were not deleted. I just press "empty trash", it makes the sound yet the icon of full trash is still there, plus the files are there too. I tried everything - and in case you might be wondering, none of my files are locked. Please help me! It'd be greatly appreciated! Dan |
