OS 10.5 - Set my MacBook to filter explicit material?

Howdy,

Does anyone know if there is a way to filter out explicit material using Leopard? Would this be through the built-in firewall somehow? I checked Safari preferences and there does not seem to be anything. Gotta keep things safe for the kids these days....

Check out Sys Prefs/Accounts/open parental controls. First i would make a User for the kids that does not have admin rights and give them the password to use that - use fast user switching. That way your settings do not get changed by them when they are playing around and you can control exactly what is available to them.

If the built-in parental controls don't prove to be adequate, there are other software packages to try. Here's what I dug up:
