Mac Specs: Mac Book Pro, iPhone

I am pretty new with macs and I don t know what is happening with my computer or router but i can t download any .dmg o .exe file.
Someone have any idea how to solve this?

I have a mac book pro and have the typical wireless connection? I have a SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPEALIDOCIOUS internet provider "Speedy", so maybe someone can help me...

Have you downloaded anything like Download Accelerator (I think this was the culprit)? Some people have installed junk like this and have had problems downloading particular file types.

Also, in case you didn't know, exe files won't work under OS X.

I've had my macbook 6 months now, one of the first Unibody ones and its only in the last month I had problems downloading also from the Apple download section of the site, I click on the download link and nothing happens.
