OS 10.5 - problems with mac os x 10.5.7

hey guys im serious need of help...me and my brother both have macbooks, everything was working just fine, we decided to get limewire b/c we heard is good on music..his computer was gettin a msg sayin that he needed the newest update. we were both decided to do the software update and the new mac os x 10.5.7 was aval. so we decided to upgrade teh computer, mine was wokrign just fine and the download was fast as usual.. but his took a very long time and everything seemed ok.. after a couple hrs (b/c thats what it took to download 10.5.7) he restared teh comp like supposed to..evertyhign looked ok. he turned the thing off. and now his icon on the macintosh hd, the name cahnged...what could you all think couldve happen?
we need help now! please!

not at all...after the update everything works fine. its just that suddnedly went turnin back the computer on, the name on the hardrive on the desktop the name cahged..and whenever he turns on the mac he goes to a black screen and then the log in..should he jsut restart the whole comp system? btu everything works

If the system is working and you are having trouble, try and download and install the combo update and see if that fixes the issue
