Lately, when I am searching online the Safari browser closes and a message comes up with the option to report the error or reopen the browser. Usually I just reopen and carry on,but I'm sure there might be a problem that needs attention. Any suggestions would be awesome. Oh yeah, This is my first Mac so... and its OS X 10.4.11 PowerPC

What version of Safari are you running? Are you running an app called AcidSearch?

Go to the file menu and select "reset safari". This may well cure the problem.

Also make sure you have the latest version of Flash, Java, and any other plugins you might be using.
