Keychain problems

I tinkered about with keychain (deleted some keychain passwords) and now no passwords will be save to keychain. For example in Fire although I click 'save' on the password button, it doesn't.

Also on syncing my mac with my .mac account I can't because I need to 'configure my .mac account'. Although it remembers my name of the .mac account it doesn't remember the password.

This also goes with entering a password for my Mail account. I keep on having to do it despite I check the box 'save' for the password.
