On my desktop I have my icons showing the details. I like to see the size of my drives but it does not show the whole string. Is there any way to increase the length or only show the whole number in the total and free size?

Unless I am missing something it's either on of off. I have never found a way to change how the info itself is displayed. Sorry.

That's too bad, because it is not useful at all the way it is.

If you Right Click on the desktop, select Show View Options. Check Show Item Info.

With label position on the right you can get it to show all that info by playing with a combination of increasing grid spacing and decreasing Text size.

With label on the bottom, I only had to decrease the text size.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
