So I have a screenshot I would like you to take a look at. I am trying to turn on Time Machine and set it up. I am on Mac OS x 10.5.6 (Leopard) and I am using Airport (not plugged in through an ethernet cable) to connect to my network and use my internet connection.
So here is the screenshot: http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/485...irportscan.jpg Now my internet works (meaning airport is working) as I am posting this from my Macbook Pro. So I selected my network from the Airport list and my internet browswer (Firefox) works fine when browsing the web yet I still keep getting "Airport Utility was unable to find any Apple wireless devices. Make sure the Apple wireless device you want to setup is plugged in and in range of your computer, and then select rescan to try again" when trying to turn on and setup Time Machine. Does anybody know why this is happening and what I can do to fix this? Thanks a ton. I really appreciate your help and suggestions. |
