Can anyone tell me where my home folder's mail inbox is located? I can't find it in the Library folder, and it doesn't appear when I ls -a.
One other thing: I don't know whether I'm doing this or not, but sometimes when I'm at my machine, the dock will disappear and then reappear (the way it rises from the bottom of the screen when you turn the computer on.) I'm guessing that perhaps I may be causing it with a certain set of keystrokes, possibly as well because I have the screen saver switch at regular time intervals. A few minutes ago it did it again, and this time the screen saver switched as well when the doc reappeared, before it was scheduled to. Anyone out there with any ideas? |

I'm pretty sure the dock issue occurs when MobileMe syncs, if you've set it up to sync your Dock items or Preferences that is.
As for the other issue: ~/Library/Mail/YourMailAccountName/YourInbox.mbox |

System Preferences > MobileMe > Sync.
If you haven't installed all your updates it might also be called .Mac. But if you don't use moblieme or have a membership then that's probably not the issue.. |
