Is it happening a lot?

I would try re applying the OS X update using the downloadable installer

Mac OS X 10.5.6 Combo Update

Once that is done keep the system sweet by occasionally running the maintenance scripts and disk permission repairs using MainMenu

This one is a little intriguing. Are those actual copies of files or just links? Are they taking up space? Have you tried deleting them (after backing up of course)?
