OS 10.5 - MP3s are the wrong image

When I download an mp3 or drag a song from itunes to the desktop, the image has suddenly changed from the itunes logo to a white disc drive simbol, like the one you get when you open a dmg instalation file.
how can i change this back? thanks

Start by repairing permissions from Disk Utility, and then see what happens.
