Hey guys,

I need some technical help. Lately I've been getting kernel panics. They're random; as in I get them while I'm either watching videos or playing music on my iMac. I have a late 2006 17" model, 2 Gigs of Ram. Here's one of the messages it gives after the panic:

I don't have a specific solution to your problem as I am no good at deciphering kernel panic logs. I would suggest though that verifying disk permissions with Disk Utility and fixing any that are shown would be a good start (it solved a recent kernel panic issue I was experiencing).

P.S. Great avatar . I'm a Presence fan myself though.

I love Houses of the Holy. Nice to know there are fellow Zeppelin fans here.

I did the Apple Hardware Test and they all check out good. No problems were found. I also repaired permissions and so far my computer hasn't panicked. I'm beginning to think it's a software issue.

Thanks for the help though!

I verified my disk and it came back fine. System Profiler said my RAM was ok which I thought could be a legitimate problem after doing some research (faulty RAM causing the panics). I repaired the permissions and all is good since then so I am equating that with fixing my problem since repairing my permissions was the only thing that I changed of significance.
