There's a lot of OX 10.5 disk on ebay, and they say that they are for like a Imac, or Macbook, or so on. Isn't 10.5 ....10.5 no matter what computer it's on. If i get a macbook disk, will it install properly on my g4 powermac?

No it will not install on your G4. Disks that come with a machine are machine specific and will only work on basically identical systems.

You will need a retail copy, not a sytem specific copy.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.

As bobtomay advises these Leopard discs will not work. The sellers should not be allowed to sell system restore discs without selling thew machine they came with, but human greed being what it is, the extra bucks are attractive.

Compare with these for price and do not buy the 5 license Family Pack:-
