I have just switched from PC to MAC and it is really cool. I just bought an iMAC 24in.

I have heard that some people do not run any anti-virus, spyware/adware etc software because the threats are low.

Can someone give me advice on this, and what is the best free one out there?

Thanks,

Michael

Thanks very much. I will do a search next time before posting. I was lazy. Excellent information though and I am grateful.
