Booting Windows XP from an internal hard drive turned into an external one
Well my title pretty much sums everything up. I recently converted my husbands old PC internal hard drive into an external hard drive so it wouldn't go to waste after the CPU stopped turning on. The thing is he has a macbook pro but still needs windows to run some programs but he refuses to partition his mac hard drive. Is there any way he can boot windows from his external hard drive?

Sorry, Windows will not boot from an external drive. This is a MS imposed limitation.
I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.
