i have and white ibook g3 and a powerbook g4. i tried installing panther on my ibook with the powerbook's discs. The OS installed fine, but it would not allow me to install the other software that came on the restore discs. So i just have the OS and the basic programs, which is fine, but I wanted some of the other software off of there too. is there any way i can load that extra software?
QUOTE Thanks

if your ibook reads the disc at all, download and install pacifist, then use it to extract the installer packages for those apps.
