    how to show hidden files
I want to see all the files in the folders.
I tried terminal with "ls -all", so that I can see .DS_Store, but still can't see files, (I'm sure there are some there, when I use Windows, it's a portable drive.)

    Any body knows?
BTW, is there any kind of software?

Also, you can tell Mac OS X to always show hidden files by supplying some commands in Terminal, if you don't want to install an application to do it.

    To show hidden files:

    defaults write AppleShowAllFiles TRUE
    killall Finder
    To hide them again:

    defaults write AppleShowAllFiles FALSE
    killall Finder
TinkerTool is pretty handy anyway though, take a look. :)
