OS 10.5 - Kernel Panic

Every time i insert my SD card reader i get a Kernel panic immediately and this is the log info please does anyone know how to fix this

Looks like your SD card reader is "stepping on or invading" memory space that it's not supposed to. The card reader itself shouldn't do that, so it leads me to believe that maybe the memory card you're trying to read is at fault or even defective. Try another memory card if you have one. Does it do the same thing?

I actually this happened when i had no sd card in the reader

Well, that's really strange. I've never known a card reader to cause a blue screen or kernel panic. I'm going to guess that maybe the card reader itself is defective, but again, that's unusual. Have you tried plugging any other USB device into the same port? Results?

Ok i have just tried other usb devices and they work but it i tried another card reader and it seems to crash every time its a sd card reader because i just tried 3 different brands all ending in the same result.

USB ports are probably OK. Try resetting the PRAM and NVRAM as a long shot to see if that will help. See the following Apple KB article to learn how. Link
