I have a 12 inch Apple Powerbook G4 installed with 10.4.11. After doing my software updates the keyboard now types all the wrong characters .. a=a s=o i=c f=u ..
I've tried restarting, checked the numbers lock key, used an external apple keyboard, unchecked 'Dvorak' in the international settings and looked at the universal access. Has anyone else had this problem and is the a fix i'm missing?
Thanks in advance

Is Keyboard Viewer selected and switched on?

Also after Software Update run Repair Permissions.
