How do I share a program folder (and all subfolders) on the server?

I am new to Mac's.
There is a Mac OS X 10.4 Server and a bunch of Mac clients all with Tiger installed all using TCP/IP with static IP addresses.

I only need one client to connect to the share automatically at boot-up.
I can probably do this with the standard Go | Connect to Server... method right? And then add that volume to my Login Items tab so it connects at startup right?
QUOTE Thanks

I should say, that the Program Folder is just the name of the folder that I will create on the server. This is the folder I want to share.
QUOTE Thanks
