OS 10.5 - Can't move or add dock icons

For some reason, I can't take icons off my dock or add new ones. I tried to hold the mouse and add a new one that way but it wouldn't work either. I'm the system administrator so it isn't a permissions issue.

You may have locked your dock.

Try the defaults commands here (in kilamite's posts) to unlock your dock.
