I have an iDisk icon on my desktop but I would like to rename it. how can I do this?

15" MacBook Pro Aluminum, 2.53G / iPhone 3G 16G Black/TimeCapsule 1TB back up and media server/Mac Mini 2.0GHz Core 2 Duo
Whoever said that money cant buy happiness hasnt been to an Apple store 

This worked:

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you want. If all you want is for the desktop icon to say iDisk instead of coitalbunny or whatever your MobileMe id is, that's not so hard:

1. Create an alias to the drive on the desktop. Name it iDisk.
2. Turn the actual iDisk desktop icon off.

You can do #2 using either the Finder > Preferences > General if you don't have external drives, or I'm sure you can use one of several tweaking programs available for Mac to turn off just that one icon. You can also use one of those tweaking programs to get rid of the little alias arrow on your new iDisk alias so that it looks and behaves like a drive icon.
