I have a MacBook Pro running leopard. When I search something in the finder it comes back with no results. Even if it is something that I can clearly see on my desktop. Everything else works fine, but I cannot search for anything and it is irritating. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Are you using Spotlight to search or are you using the help function in Finder to search? If you're using Spotlight, open System Preferences, Spotlight, and make sure you have all the items that would be included in a search checked off.

Regards.

I usually use the search in finder but spotlight finds nothing either. I have everything checked in preferences...

Dude... an upgrade to sl causes all sorts of odd problems. I say that from experience and other people's problems. Just too many variables methinks... Id do a clean install if i were you.
