OS 10.5 - Screen capture (print screen) will not work

I have been using - command, shift and 3 to capture print screens. It used to work a few months back and now it does not. I have checked my keyboard settings and they are all ok. Anyone else had the same problem?

have you tried other accounts?try command+shift+4 or command+shift+4+spacebar

Yes i have tried them all, but still nothing. When it used to work i used to get a small kind of 'camera shutter' sound so i knew that a pic of the screen had been taken. But now nothing works at all regarding getting a screen shot?

hmm try to reset the pram and try it on another account. We could isolate the problem that way
