Making the mistake of going in and following the instructions in the "Help" directory, I have screwed up my keychains... Now there are no keychains listed in the large window, only in the left side column. After running First Aid, it correct alot of problems, but say "Lost login keychain".. that's not good. That must be what's prohibiting me from accessing new mail. How do I set things right and get all this back to "normal"?

If you lost the password to your keychain or it somehow became corrupt, you'll have to create another keychain from new. If you're referring to the logon password for your email that's lost because of the keychain problem, creating a new keychain should get you back. Otherwise, you'll have to change your password for the email account with your ISP.
(I hope I understood your question correctly. If not post back.) Regards. |
