Does anyone know where I can download Java version 1.4.2_07 for the mac?

If you want to see what version you have installed first, open up Terminal and type:

java -version

Then hit return.

To update to the latest Java available for your OS Version, just use Software Update to get it.
If the version you are looking for doesn't show up in the Software Update, then you either already have it, or you can't use it with your OS version.
