Well.... what do you plan to do on it? What sort of software and activities?

Standing request for all troubleshooting: Please provide your Mac model/year and OS version. Also advise us if you have used or installed any antivirus, security, or "cleaning" software on your Mac. If you have installed MacKeeper in particular, you are hereby advised to uninstall it.

They're all very similar in speed. You won't notice any difference in everyday use between a 1.8Ghz Core 2 Duo and a 3.0Ghz one. Sure, you'll do some longer tasks more quickly, such as knocking off 10 minutes off an hour's video encoding, and you may get one or two extra frames per second in games, but that's about it.

If you're looking at the iMac for example, get the cheapest if you're not playing games and if you are, get the one with the Radeon 2600 graphics chip. I wouldn't waste money on a 2.8 or a 3.0Ghz personally, if a 2.4Ghz one was available.
