Hello,
I have a blue and white imac. 128mb ram, 13 GB Hard drive (purchased 2001). I've heard horror stories about not doing hardware updates before upgrading. I've looked and have not found how this is done to avoid catastrophe. I'm getting ready to buy 10.2 on ebay for around $40. Do I need to upgrade to 9.* first? If I purchase the 10.1 upgrade for $12, will that include 9.*? How much will this cost to upgrade to 256mb ram (approx)? Any step through or link to a forum answer would be appreciated. If 9 does the hardware upgrades automatically, please let me know. Thanks all! |
